About Rainforestation Nature Park

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to explore a 100 acre (40 ha) plot of land set in the midst of the World Heritage Rainforest? Well, now is your chance! The Rainforestation Nature Park provides just that - an opportunity for visitors from all over the world. With 30 minutes by coach ride and only five-minute proximity away from Kuranda Village, this rustic park offers so much adventure waiting around every corner. You'll get great photo opportunities while learning about rain forest conservation efforts along with experiencing locally owned businesses such as ours at our visitor centre where we offer guided tours daily.

The Australian wildlife in this park is sure to excite any nature lover! There are crocodiles, dingoes, snakes and lizards. You can even feed kangaroos or wallabies if you have enough time for it during your visit here.

The CaPTA Group is a family-owned company that operates tours in Cairns and Port Douglas, including Rainforestation Nature Park; Tropic Wings offers adventure outdoor experiences such as bird watching or butterfly conversation while Jungle Tours takes you on an educational journey through the Australian Wildlife Habitat.
The sisters behind The CAPTizarrows offer zooming around town with their electric scooters, wildlife viewing opportunities at one of three different locations - animal encounters include wombats galore. And if all those amazing creatures aren’t enough then try seeing them.

What To Do At Rainforestation Nature Park

Take a journey through the rainforests of Costa Rica on this exciting ride! board an amphibious World War II Army Duck, and get ready for some exotic plants & wildlife identification as well as meanderings. The tour will take you past 40 different types of fruit trees that are all grown locally near San Jose: From apples to oranges; bananas or passionfruit - there's something here especially made just right depending upon your taste buds' desires (and needs). It doesn't stop at these wonderful flora displays either – we also have tangerines if those winter days.

Visitors to the museum will be able to experience traditional Australian culture with an interactive Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience that allows them to watch a performance of ancient dances in one of its rainforest amphitheatres. Afterwards, they can take part in Dreamtime Walk which includes boomerang throwing and spear-throwing skills while playing the didgeridoo.
